The Autism Speaks 8k Run & 1k Fun Run presented by The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf features a challenging 8k (~5 mi) race through the iconic grounds of Camp Mabry. Runners on this challenging course will pass historic military vehicles and aircraft as they make their way through the hilly, scenic grounds.

- Where: Iconic Camp Mabry grounds (2210 W. 35th St)
- Prizes: Great prizes from Hill Country Running & Camelbak for top 3 male/female finishers and top 3 per age group. Technical/Athletic t-shirts for all 8k and 1k participants
- Why: To raise money and awareness for Autism Speaks – the world’s leading autism science and advocacy organization, dedicated to funding research into the causes, prevention, treatments and a cure for autism; increasing awareness of autism spectrum disorders; and advocating for the needs of individuals with autism and their families.
